The KMC Band kicked off the Summer season with a big ole party! The Cascade Block Party was held in a tent in the parking lot of Spare Time Fun Center and they had it all...good food, BEER, and of course, music!! Not only was there a band earlier in the night, but also JJ Your DJ from 92.5 WBWI, and then KMC rocked it out for the rest of the night! Our good friend, "Mean Gene" sure knows how to have a good time!! Thanks for having us!
The band had a couple tricks up their sleeves too, as Crazy Dazy took care of lights AND sound, while Sandman took the stage for the first time as the new KMC drummer!! That's right, Sandman's gonna be behind the drums from now on, so Road Hammer will take over as audio engineer when he returns from a trip out of state. Joe has decided to leave us to spend more time with his family, and to further his education and go back to school. Goodbye and good luck in the future, Joe, it has been a pleasure working with you for so long! Kerry also pulled out a new cover tune in the second set, and gave kudos to a couple who managed to make out while dancing - "now that's talent!"
Kerry and the boys were right back at it on Tuesday, out at Maddog Saloon in Greenfield, where every Tuesday is Country night! The crowd was in a party mood...a softball team celebrated a victory, along with the Brew Crew...a bachelorette party had girls taking turns on the pole...so what if tomorrow was only Wednesday, who doesn't love Hump Day?! KMC would like to send love out to the staff at Maddog for takin' such great care of us and lookin' good to boot!
